Privacy policy

Scope
This policy describes how pixai-ai.io handles data. It applies to this website only. PixAI itself, its parent Mewtant Inc., its Singapore entity METANOMALY PTE. LTD. and the mobile apps distributed through the App Store and Google Play are covered by PixAI's own privacy policy at pixai.art/privacy. Reading this page does not change your relationship with them. If you subscribe to PixAI through the /go redirect on this site, the data-processing relationship from that point is between you and PixAI, under their policy and their terms.
What is collected here
Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referring URL, timestamp, HTTP status) are recorded for security, abuse prevention and diagnostic purposes. IP addresses are truncated within 30 days. No account system runs on this site, so there is no username, email or password to store. No prompts or generated imagery are handled by pixai-ai.io.
Aggregated analytics counts page views, session duration and referring sources. Analytics data is IP-anonymised and not linked to identifying information. No cross-site advertising or profile-building trackers are set.
A single browser-local key called pixai_age_ok is stored on your device once you confirm 18-plus at the age gate. It contains only the string "1" and lives in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and is not readable by any third party. Clearing site data removes it.
Cookies and local storage
No third-party advertising cookies are set. No behavioural profile cookies are set. The only client-side storage is the age-gate key described above. If a font provider drops a functional cookie its scope is limited to that service under its own policy.
Third parties
Fonts load from Google Fonts under their policy. The /go redirect passes you to PixAI or a redirect partner with no personal data attached; the destination's privacy policy governs from that point. Outbound links to r/PixAI, Discord, X, TikTok, docs.pixai.art, blog.pixai.art, App Store and Google Play open in a new tab under their own privacy terms.
What is not collected
No account data. No payment data. No prompt content or generated imagery. No health or biometric data. No inferred profile used for advertising. No sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, in the sense used by the California Consumer Privacy Act and its regulations.
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, the legal basis for the limited server-log and analytics processing described above is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: keeping the site online, secure and diagnosable. For the age-gate localStorage key, no processing under GDPR applies because the data does not leave your device.
Your rights
Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California and other privacy-forward jurisdictions may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data this site holds. Because this site holds no persistent personal record beyond time-limited server logs, most requests can be answered by confirming there is nothing on file. Requests go to the editor on LinkedIn. Response window: 30 days as required under GDPR Article 12 and CCPA § 1798.130.
Retention
Server logs: 30 days. Age-gate key: on your device until you clear it. Analytics aggregates: 26 months.
Children
This site is 18-plus. It is not directed at anyone under the age of majority. The reasoning is on the age verification page. No data from users known or reasonably believed to be under 18 is knowingly collected.

Material changes are dated at the top of this page and reflected in the dateModified JSON-LD field. Read the terms of service for how site-wide changes are communicated.
